We are a small yet specialized team at Smolten.
Dean Maaske (Director and head-craftsman), Mandy Maaske (Co-director and administrator), Kyle Maaske (Craftsman), Daniélle Maaske (Marketing and Social Media), Benson & Emmanuel (Foundrymen).
Each team member is dynamic and attentive to details. We all take extreme pride in our work and love what we do!
Who are we?
Creators of quality, high-end lighting & décor.
Based in the coastal town of Plettenberg Bay, South Africa is Smolten Lighting & Décor. We specialize in hand-made, bespoke décor and lighting. All of our products are made with recycled cast-aluminum and/or hand-beaten steel. In our foundry we pay very close attention to detail and quality, allowing us to create, mould and design unique and exclusive products for your home, lodges and hotels across the world.
What do we do?
We design and create unique pieces for your living spaces. All with our unique look and feel.
Our bespoke and specialized products are unique and different from anything you've seen before. Hand made to order in our foundry. We have a set range of products but we also create new and exclusive hanging lights, décor and more.
